The SHC hub and App has been re-designed to embrace the architecture of a home and provide effortless control of motorized shades. Easily operate or Personalize the daily routine of shades; organising them by room, grouping them by scenes and automating them with timers. Unlock the convenience of smart shade operation, with the Smart Home Collection with Version 3.0 app
The new Smart Home Collection App not only allows you to activate, adjust and automatically position your shades but does so through One Tap on the Shade Tiles. One Tap to close, One Tap to open and One Tap to activate and stop scenes. A double tap stops a shade’s operation, and a single long press opens a dedicated shade control screen giving you access to more customized settings.
White tiles indicate the shade is open or partially open and a shaded tile indicates the shade is closed.
Quickly view the Health Status of all your shades. A summary screen displays the battery levels of all your shades along with signal strength indicators, prompting necessary action to either charge your motors or troubleshoot connections.
Smart Home Collection App lets you create an automation routine, and once setup, autonomously raises and lowers your smart shades at the optimal time, so your home’s climate is always at its best.

MOTOR TYPES
The SHC hub supports a variety of shade types including: Roller Shades, Romans, Awnings, Drapery, Venetians, Cellular, Skylights, Large Outdoor Shades. Support for Top Down, Bottom Up devices are now available.
LIVE FEEDBACK VIA ARC
ARC technology enables live communication between your Smart Home Collection and Automate shades, so you always know what position your shades are in, as well as the battery percentage of your motor. Quickly check shade information within the app or ask Siri to check for you!
SUNRISE AND SUNSET DETECTION
Utilizing your home’s time zone and location, the Smart Home Collection app can automatically raise or lower your shades according to the position of the sun. Set a ‘Morning’ scene and watch all your shades promptly rise when you start your day, or create an “Evening” scene that will dynamically alter based on the sunset in your location.
SCENES
Personalize shade control and organise how your shades operate by specific daily events or scenes automatically at the optimal time. Creating a scene for your entire home can be completed effortlessly with a Scene capture button.
SHADE HEALTH
Check the health of your motorized shades at a glance with Battery level and Signal strength icons on your device tiles.
COMPLETE CONTROL HOME AND AWAY
If you have multiple locations like a home, office, or vacation home, simply switch between them for independent control. Always be in charge of your privacy and security! - Users can now pair the Hub with an Ethernet cable and select Wi-Fi Backup during pairing.
- We have updated the Hub Pairing screens to allow users to access app settings via the app.
- If Hub pairing fails, users can now choose to pair via Ethernet or check the settings button.
- New pairing images have been added for Outdoor, Awning, Venetian, Roman, and Curtain device types.
- Tile positions in editing mode are now saved when the user exits the screen.

- For timers use AM/PM time Picker instead of 24-hour time
We have also resolved the following issues:
- Time zone setting issues during Hub Pairing have been resolved.
- Hub pairing with some mesh routers has been fixed.
- UI updates have been made to fix text and formatting on several pages.
- Resolve an issue where users can’t set or edit Shade Limits and Hub appears not to be connected to the local network
- This also allows the App to Use Local Wi-Fi to control shades.
- Resolve a timer edit issue that may occur for some users.

In this update to the Smart Home Collection app, we have re-designed the App to easily operate or personalise the daily routine of your shades; By introducing “Tiles”

Operation of Tiles
Simply touch the tile and the shade will move;
If the tile is open the shade will close or if the tile is closed it will open. If the shade is not moving in the intended direction, touching the tile again the shade will move in the opposite direction.
We have also introduced smart prediction, and this means if the shade is not open or closed, by touching the tile the shade will move open or close based on the time of the day.
A long press on the tiles will allow additional functions or double tapping a tile while it’s moving will stop the shade room or scene.
Tiles also include haptic feedback so you know if you have opened or closed the shade.
Bi-directional feedback
White tiles indicate the shade is open or partially open and a grey tile indicated the tile is closed.
Shade Health
We have also introduced shade health and which lets you see all the shades on one screen in terms of signal strength and battery percentage.
Shade tiles also include health and a red indicator means the battery is below 30% or the signal strength is poor
Scenes Timers and Rooms
Every screen has been redesigned with a fresh new look including a new way to do everything that is so intuitive you have to try it.
Support for Top Down, Bottom Up shade device is now available.

In this update we have focused on an improved hub pairing experience, making it even easier to pair your iOS device with the Smart Home Collection Hub.
Another major improvement is there are 3 dedicated help sections to help you through some common issues that may occur, with hub pairing for problematic networks as well as what to do if your shade is offline or out of range.
Other improvements:
Shade Signal Strength is now in 4 levels with color-coded text rather than icons.
New Battery icons with 4 Battery levels instead of 3.
Device Screen update: Shade size is now more proportional to your screen.
Dynamic help pop up for specific issues that relate to your system.
